What’s great is how diverse some of the podcasts are. They aren’t all just tips and previews, but they also look at high-level conversation on that specific topic, along with expert opinion, which is incredibly valuable for most punters.

Behind the Bets by ESPN Chalk

If you search for the best gambling podcasts then this is one that is almost always on people’s “Top X” list. The Behind the Bets podcast is hosted by Doug Kezirian and includes regulars Stanford Steve and Chris Fallica.

The three of them have great chemistry, but more importantly, they are extremely knowledgeable about sports betting. They specialize in US-based sports such as NFL, NHL, and NBA, but also cover major sporting events from all over the world, which makes it incredibly inclusive.

Against All Odds with Cousin Sal

Those of you who are familiar with the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” show will likely be familiar with Sal Iacono. Well, Sal is actually a massive sports fan and, on the back of fame from that show, has created a sports gambling podcast that you can stream for free via Spotify.

It’s a little more light-hearted than most betting podcasts, but whilst it lacks a little in terms of gambling strategies and tips, it makes up for in terms of entertainment. Sal has an infectious personality and his love for all sports is apparent right off the bat.

Whilst he has a bit of a laugh along the way, there is no doubt that he knows what he is talking about when it comes to sports. His newfound celebrity status also means that he can get access to some of the biggest and best names in sport, as well as sport-loving celebrities.

Bet the Board with Payne Insider and Todd Fuhrman

Bet the Board is the first in our gambling podcast list that includes a professional bettor. In this case, that would be Payne. He’s been a successful sports bettor for several years now and with it has a huge range of knowledge with US-based sports.

Fuhrman plays the interviewer role here, but don’t let that fool you as he was a former Las Vegas oddsmaker. The pair bounce off each other well and create a balance between entertainment and legitimate picks for upcoming games.

They currently release two podcasts per week. The first comes out on a Monday and the second comes out on a Thursday. The latter usually look at the upcoming weekend’s games and the former works as a bit of a review of the weekend and a look at any Monday night games that might be taking place.

What’s impressive about the pair is that they really put the research in with each of their picks. The stats and data they sift through are almost unrivaled, and it’s refreshing to see bets which aren’t simply, “The Pats to win” etc.

Even Money with Ross Tucker and Steve Fezzik

Even Money is one for the diehard American football fans amongst you. Ross Tucker is a former offensive lineman who played for no fewer than 7 NFL teams. Many class Tucker as a journeyman footballer, but in reality, he was much better than that.

His work in the media has led to leading the line on the Even Money podcast. He’s incredibly passionate about his sport and it’s great to get insight from former pro players.

Fezzik works for pregame.com and acts more or less as the anchor of the show. However, he is more than capable of holding his own when it comes to football talk and the rapport that the pair have built up over the years has been great to listen in to.
